Did you know that when a butterfly is in the cocoon, it’s whole body turns to mush except for a few cells that tell the mush how to combine into a butterfly.
No joke.
To transform from a catterpillar to a butterfly, the poor insect turns to mush.
How far are YOU willing to go to fly?
I go thru that periodically.
One or more parts of my life will just disolve away and what’s left is waiting to be called into a new form that will serve me even better.
I’m in a mush state now in many ways.
New city, new clients, new friends and relationships, daughter starting puberty
So much of my life feels new and unformed, primordial ooze from which all life arises
And amidst the mush, I hear those cells that know what my butterfly looks like calling me into my next form.
Can’t wait to see what my wings look like! ;p
